On 2 April 2009 in Brussels, Belgium it was held the 4th Fiscalis Committee on which it was present the National Coordination Team from the Republic of Macedonia, responsible for the implementation of the Fiscalis 2013 program.

In direction to promote the bilateral cooperation, from 22 to 24 April 2009 in Skopje and Ohrid, at the invitation of the Public Revenue Office was present the delegation of the Albanian Tax administration.

The purpose of this meeting was introducing the participants with the progress made by the Project for modernization of Public Revenue Office as well as the challenges which are facing the PRO in 2009 as a result of the world economic crises.

Citizens, as taxpayers of Personal Income Tax, are obliged to register the realized income during 2008 in the Public Revenue Office, by submitting the Annual Tax Return (“PIT – ATR” form). The tax returns are submitted from 1st of January 2009 latest to 15th of March 2009 when the legal deadline for submitting the form ‘’PIT – ATR” expire. You can deliver the Annual Tax Return in the tax offices of the Public Revenue Office or by mail. Annual Tax Return has to be submitted by citizens/residents of the Republic of Macedonia for the realized income in the country and abroad.

Public Revenue Office signed a Declaration for cooperation with region countries on a multilateral meeting held on 22 and 23 of January in Kosovo. By signing of this Declaration the Tax Administrations of Albania, Bulgaria, Kosovo, Macedonia and Turkey has agreed:
