As a positive example of the implemented system of Integrated Collection of Social Contributions and Taxes, by the recommendation of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), from 26 to 30 April 2010, the high tax officials from the Vietnamese Tax Administration have visited the Public Revenue Office premises.

As a full member of the Intra-European organization of Tax Administrations (IOTA), from 25-26 February 2010, a representative from the Public Revenue Office took part on the 15-th Forum of the Tax Administrations. The most important for the PRO is that on this Forum, the Secretary of IOTA brought a decision, in cooperation with the Macedonian tax authorities, a workshop on topic „Tax Havens“ to be held in the Republic of Macedonia.

On 1st of October 2009 it was held the Third Regional Tax Conference, whose host and organizer this year was the National Revenue Agency of the Republic of Bulgaria. On the Conference, which presents traditional annual meeting of the highest management of the tax authorities from the Balkan region, the main topic of discussion, common cooperation and exchange of experience was “Efficient cooperation in the area of tax control”.
