The Intra-European Organization of Tax Administrations (IOTA) is an international organization that aims to deepen the cooperation and exchange of experiences between 44 Tax Administrations - members of IOTA, by attending seminars, workshops and area group meetings in certain areas.
The mission of IOTA is to provide a forum for discussion of practical tax administration issues, to promote cooperation between tax administrations in the European region and to support their development according to their individual needs.
Objectives:
- To promote and strengthen cooperation between IOTA Members;
- To support IOTA Members with the implementation of their development programs;
- To identify best practices;
- To promote IOTA as a professional regional organization of tax administrations in cooperation with other international and regional organizations.
The Public Revenue Office is a full member of the Intra-European Organization of Tax Administrations (IOTA) since 1997.
Participation in activities (forums, conferences, regional meetings, workshops, field groups, etc.) within the annual program of IOTA:
- 2017 - 17 employees from the Public Revenue Office participated on 9 events;
- 2018 - 20 employees from the Public Revenue Office participated on 12 events;
- 2019 - 18 employees from the Public Revenue Office participated on 10 events;
- 2020 - 23 employees from the Public Revenue Office participated on 9 events;
- 2021 - 83 employees from the Public Revenue Office participated on 16 events;
- 2022 - 17 employees from the Public Revenue Office participated on 9 events;
- 2023 - 10 employees from the Public Revenue Office participated on 6 events.
