The new legal decision confirms the firm determination of the R.M Government for implementation of the tax reforms foreseen also in the Project – PRO Modernization, for raising the level of professionalism, efficiency and effectiveness of the employees i.e. building the disciplined and modern organized tax body.

The purpose is to create tax servant profile according to the modern needs of the taxpayers. Reformation of human resources governing will provide to achieve optimal employee’s engagement and to provide stimulation for higher effect and non corruptive behavior.

Taking into consideration the specifics in the competences, rights, obligations and responsibilities of the tax servants, what was enforced as real need, and it will be realized according to the new changes is that, besides the persons with specific assignments and authorizations, all employed servants in the Public Revenue Office should have status of tax servants. We consider that along with the change of the current status of the employees in the PRO, besides increasing the capacities of the tax administration, it will be strengthen the control mechanisms, as well as collection of the public revenues.

The new changes are result of PRO’s hard working, as well as the influence of the Collective Agreement i.e. response to many years requests and issues foisted by the Syndicate of the PRO employees, that will get its own legal frame.
