On the 5th of June 2008, in the Parliamentary Club, Public Revenue Office promoted new “Code of conduct of the tax servants”.

The purpose of adopting this Code is to provide strictly respecting of adopted principles, legality, professional integrity and efficiency of the tax servants.
Respecting the Code should provide unification i.e. standardization of the manners and the way of behavior of the tax servant in realizing entrusted official activities and at the same time providing him to understand what is asked from him, how to behave in situations for which it has dilemma, how to act and what is his responsibility.

Our determination is to build transparent public administration with qualified and professional tax servants at all levels. The degree to which citizens are convinced that the employees in the PRO respect the strict rules of ethical behavior has direct influence on “voluntary compliance of the tax regulations”.
Transparency in working is a key for recognizing the activities and procedures of the Public Revenue Office in the public, that on the other side it influences increasing the interest and public expectations of the institution.
