On the manifestation “Site of the Year 2013”, held on 10.12.2013 in the cinema Frosina in Skopje, the PRO’s web site www.ujp.gov.mk won the first place in the Category of Best Site for Government / State Institutions. In this category, second place was awarded to www.vlada.mk, and third place to www.uslugi.gov.mk.

The manifestation “Site of the Year”, which is organized for the fourth time, aims to contribute to the development of the domestic websites and to award certificates and awards to people who work in the development of online media in the country. Organizers of the event are "Media Solutions "and the system for online advertising keepaneye.mk.

The nominees were selected from over 500 proposals. For selection of the best websites for 2013, into account were taken the votes of the Internet-visitors (40%) and the jury (60%). Selecting the nominations for which the audience decided, the final appearance of the list of best domestic internet-addresses was compiled by the jury, taking into account the parameters: technical development, design, functionality, content, interactivity and innovativeness i.e. creativity.

- The purpose of "Site of the Year" is to highlight the best and encourage all those involved in creation of better quality Macedonian web space. The intention is the Macedonian web space to grow and thus become competitive in the regional, and the global market. The Internet is slowly but surely becoming inseparable component of every segment of the society, and the "Site of the Year" seeks to recognize all those who realize their ideas and keep Macedonian web market in step with the global trends - highlighted from "Media Solutions".

Stressing out the importance of information and communication technologies in the world in which we live and congratulating the winners, a letter of support to the event was sent by the President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorgje Ivanov.
- The internet technology and the websites today undoubtedly are tools that allow the quickest, most effective communication, transmission and presentation of information and content. The manifestation so far, including this year's, confirmed that the Republic of Macedonia is not lagging behind world trends and innovations in the field of web technology. The Macedonian websites according to the quality, design and functionality deserve the highest grades - President Ivanov said.

The Public Revenue Office for the second time receives recognition for its website www.ujp.gov.mk. At last year's event, "Site of the Year 2012", which was held on 13.12.2012 in the EU Info Centre in Skopje, the PRO website has won third place in the Category of Best Site for Government / State Institutions.
