Skopje – August 9th 2011, was held the first of the four planned training on "Effective Communication Skills for Tax Auditors and Tax Enforcement Officers" which will be implemented within the Project "Support of Tax Reform," funded by the European Union IPA2007.

Considering the fact that still prevails in the public perception of the PRO as repressive authority, mostly due to the nature of functions such as "Tax Inspectorate" and "Tax Enforcement", the changes in the approach and method of communication of Auditors and Enforcement Officers with taxpayers is imposed as a need.

"If the PRO provides better communication, there will be better results" is the motto under which in cooperation with domestic and foreign experts, 80 PRO Tax Auditors and Tax Enforcement Officers from all Regional Offices will work together.

The main goal and interest of the training is to improve the skills and techniques of communication of the employees who need to ensure confidence in our professionalism, efficiency, transparency and service orientation, as well as implementation of the Program for continuous learning and development of this topic, which in future should be implemented independently by PRO trainers.
