On 2 April 2009 in Brussels, Belgium it was held the 4th Fiscalis Committee on which it was present the National Coordination Team from the Republic of Macedonia, responsible for the implementation of the Fiscalis 2013 program.

On the meeting it was discussed about Budget Monitoring of 2008 expenditure and 2009 preview, Budget Monitoring for IT Systems (BMTIT), Financial Guide and Linguistic Support, Annual Work Program: Reporting back and looking forward.

The program Fiscalis 2013 is to help administrations and the European Commission carry out activities together and to support the establishment of trans-European IT systems and EU e-learning modules.

Specific Fiscalis 2013 objectives are adopted each year by the European Commission in the form of Annual Work Program, addressing priorities in the field of taxation.

Fiscalis 2013 objectives are:

• Enhancing the fight against tax fraud, in particular VAT fraud
• Continuously improving administrative procedures and practices to the benefit of administrations and business within the EU
• Ensuring the exchange of information between national tax administrations, as well as with traders through projects such as trans-European tax IT systems.
