Special attention was given to the activities of the Public Revenue Office within the project "Building Effective, Transparent and Accountable Public Financial Management Institutions in North Macedonia”, in which the PRO and the Ministry of Finance have separate components for the development and implementation of their new IT systems. This project provides funding for significant parts of the new integrated IT system of the PRO, namely a data warehouse, business intelligence tools and a disaster recovery center. The Public Revenue Office is expected to provide appropriate input for the smooth flow of project activities, especially through participation in specifying its functional requirements. For this purpose, certain organizational improvements have already been made in the PRO, and other changes in the internal organization are planned soon, which will enable the activities within the framework of this project to be implemented more efficiently.

On the meeting it was also discussed the need for a joint review of the findings from the report of the assessment mission of the World Bank - TAX DIAMOND conducted in the Public Revenue Office in 2020. It was jointly concluded that the same will have a benefit in order to refresh the information on the key identified areas where the Public Revenue Office needs to be improved in the short and medium term, therefore, to reassess in which areas future technical assistance from the World Bank and international donors can be directed.
