In cooperation with the high educated institutions, the Public Revenue Office continues implementing the program for education and providing practice to students from the area of Taxes and the Tax Law.
From 16 to 20 November 2009, on the initiative of the Faculty of Law “Justinian Prima” Skopje, 25 students from the postgraduate studies of Financial Law and Finances were allowed to visit the premises of the Public Revenue Office and from nearby to get acquainted with the specific functions of the PRO, the business processes and the way of work of the tax servants.
Within the framework of the four day program, the lecturers from the Public Revenue Office elaborately informed the students with:
- The Tax System in the Republic of Macedonia and types of taxes
- Tax Assessment and Collection
- Concept “Gross Salary“
- Large Taxpayers Office
- Tax Inspectorate in PRO
- Detecting “Money Laundering“ in the process of External Audit
- Special tax procedures for natural persons
- Modernization of the Tax Administration in the Republic of Macedonia
- Cooperation of the International Organizations and Institutions
- PRO Strategy for communication
- Researching the public opinion and measuring the taxpayer’s satisfaction from the PRO working
- Performance measurement and bonus system in the PRO
- Management reports
